Blockchain.com wallets hacked but they make it right

Yesterday Blockchain.com announced that they had been hacked in a blog article

The hack evidently happened during a security update and was quickly patched but a small number of users did have their bitcoins stolen.

Blockchain.com has followed up accepting responsibility and stating they would refund their customers’ losses. This is great news for users and the bitcoin community in general. By the very nature of Bitcoin, they get hacked and stolen frequently. In the past bitcoin companies had denied liability or flat out refuse to admit anything happened.

Blockchain.com should be applauded for not only fixing the problem so quickly, but admitting they had one in just a matter of hours and offering a solution to those effected.
